IPC to ATPL Prep Course
This course is offered in cooperation with our partner operation, the Ottawa Flying Club. The course is aimed at pilots who already have a Group 1 Instrument Rating, but who’s skills are a little rusty and the want to obtain their Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). In the case of obtaining an ATPL, the candidate must have completed their IPC (Instrument Proficiency Check), in an aircraft. The course consists of several exercises in a simulator to polish your skills and as an option, will include a flight in our Aztec in accordance with an IFR Flight Plan and Clearance and of course in IFR conditions (weather permitting). The course was developed by Lee Keller, an experienced airline pilot from the Ottawa Flying Club.
